We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.Summary of the roleAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.JOB SUMMARYLead and drive the supply chain business performance, key supplier relationships, supply chain resiliency (risk), and supply chain optimization across the division while serving as the focal point for supporting and implementing SCM enterprise initaitives and regulatory requirementsESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and lead the division’s global supply chain strategy in support of the overall division level business plan and objectivesOversee the Supply Chain NBS Next initiatives and projects working with the businessesManage key supplier relationships and performanceWork with the businesses on key supplier improvement initiatives to drive overall supply chain performance improvement utilizing the supplier metrics/scorecards in Supply Chain Central (SCC)Lead and work with the businesses on the development, oversight, and achievement of the annual material cost productivity targets and cost reduction funnel targetsWork with the Central Supply organization to obtain market intelligence for material cost drivers and indices and provide forward guidance to the businessesLead the capital leveraging process and strategy across the divisionServe as the focal point for cross-division key category strategies, supplier relationships, and contractsDrive the division supplier consolidation process (NBS C/D suppliers)Support and manage the Supplier Compliance Polling process (RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, CTPAT, …)Lead the management of the accuracy and maintenance of the Nordson Supply Chain portal/database, commodity coding, and HTS codingLead the Supplier Risk Assessment process for the divisionWith with Central Supply on implementation of supply chain best practicesLead the supply chain talent management within the divisionOther duties as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTDetail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. Education:Bachelor's Degree, Supply Chain Management or Engineering preferredExperience:Minimum 10+ years experience in Supply Chain operations with a global industrial manufacturer including taking on roles of progressively more responsibilityPREFERRED SKILLS & ABILITIESKnowledge of commodity cost drivers and category strategy developmentAbility to identify, develop and implement best practices based on lean supply chain principles.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, influencing, and project management skills.Team leadership and talent developmentAbility to work cross-functionally and influence behaviors.Proven ability to establish credibility and be decisive, ability to recognize and support organization priorities, mission and code of ethics.Excellent attention to detail.Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any levelAbility to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities; ability to multi-taskDetail-oriented self starterProficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Powerpoint, etc..WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDSOffice environment.
